I'm really passionate about British wool, so all the fibre you will find here is sourced from British manufacturers. I also have a stall at Greenwich Market, so swing by on a Wednesday or a Saturday and say hello.

History

I'm very new! I haven't even started trading yet, but I will tell you the story so far (get ready for the wiggly going-back-in-time vision inevitably accompanied by that mysterious music).

It all started a couple of months ago- I was at an interview for some boring and generic job when I was asked what my dream job would be. I gave a boring and generic answer, when in real life it was to run my own business and to cover the world with knitters and crocheters (or at least help out with it). And then I started thinking 'Why not?' Well, finances was why not, but after a bit a googling I came upon The Prince's Trust. This is an amazing charity that helps young people succeed and do well in their lives. They offer help in getting into work, and the thing that I was interested in... setting up a business. Unfortunately, I had to wait around for a little bit before I could go on the Explore the Enterprise course, but I did do it and have now completed it. They are totally amazing and will hopefully be giving me a small loan and assigning me a mentor for three years.

So now, I'm writing my business plan and getting everything ready. It's all so exciting!
